Travelling to Australia

This page assists you in planning your trip to Australia, as well as advising you on how to use the other pages to your best advantage.

Weather

Our pages have the average maximum and minimum daily temperatures, amount of rainfall and number of days of rain for over 50 vacation resorts within Australia. To view these details, click on the Weather details logo next to every resort. Australian temperatures are measured in degrees Celcius, not Fahrenheit. Look at our metric converter.

Australia is in the southern hemisphere, so our winter occurs from June to August and our summer occurs from December to February.

States

We have divided our continent into 6 pages, one for each of the states. On each page you will see a map of that state showing the towns where the resorts are situated and hypertext links to each of those towns.

Each resort has

distances to the capital city of that state
population figures, to give you an idea of the size of the district
full details of the resort. We are starting to obtain photographs of each resort, and these will be added to the pages over the next few months.
